Labor/Labour Day weekend

In the USA, we spell it Labor and in Canada it is Labour. Not sure I will EVER get used to that.

Grandma and Papa Duguay came to visit for the Labor Day weekend. They arrived on Thursday just before dinner and stayed until Sunday after church. We had a great visit with a few games of cards and cribbage. We had a great lunch out at Doogan's in Aurora (thanks Papa and Grandma).

On Saturday, the Annual Hawthorn Picnic and BBQ was held in our neighbourhood. Everyone brings their own beverages and a side dish. There were 3 HUGE inflatables for the kids to play on. The fun never stopped, probably 100 people there. There was a hula hoop contest and a tug of war. Papa and Grandma even got to meet most of our neighbours. Everyone had a great time.
